The story of the birth of Christ is told in a magnificent way and includes live animals, inspiring music, and incredible special effects. Look on as a host of angels (some suspended in mid-air) lift their arms to Heaven in praise at the birth of our newborn king!; (Some suspended in mid-air! See Mary and Joseph in the stable with the Baby Jesus on that miraculous starry night of long ago as shepherds pay their tribute to the newborn King. Live animals are featured and include camels, donkeys, and more. The holiday music and Christmas carols are glorious! This depiction of Jesus' birth is so realistic it makes you feel as though you were actually there! The first segment of the show presents a fantasy rendition of Christmas with classics featuring Santa Claus, mischievous elves, toys that come to life, comical skits and more. It's a wonderful celebration you just have to experience for yourself! The Smoky Mountain Opry Show is a two-hour presentation with a 15 minute intermission. It's requested that you be seated at least 30 minutes before the show begins. Snacks and soft drinks are available. This theater is a non-smoking facility and handicapped accessible.
