Some of the best fall festivals in the country happen right here in the Great Smoky Mountains area!  It's such a lovely time of the year!  Celebrating the coming of Autumn is about beautiful fall colors, homemade treats, and old-fashion living.  


The fall festival in Wears Valley is a huge festival filled with big orange pumpkins, acres of craft tents fill with fall decor, old time fiddle music, and plenty of country cookin'!  One of the most popular displays is their line-up of antique tractors.  There's a play area for children that includes face painting, and bounce amusements.  Interesting exhibits are displayed along with plenty of home-baked goods.

The Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival in Sevierville is a small town celebration that rings in the fall season with fun for everyone!  It's a time when the towns people come together to remember our heritage.  The city is aligned with colorful fall decorations!  it's a time to enjoy music, events, crafts, and all that this area was, and continues to be!  This fall festival is celebrated throughout the month of October!  


The Arts and Crafts Community is definitely "Smokies Strong!"  The artisans are amazing!  You'll enjoy lovely artwork, handiwork from the "good ole days" as well as the latest crafts, photography, ceramics, and more.  Artwork from over 200 independent artists are displayed.  There is live bluegrass and country concerts every day during this exciting two week festival.

A Taste of Autumn

The Mountains Are Calling....We Must Go!  This fall festival has a unique way of bringing people out!  It's called FOOD!  Area restaurants come together with their best dishes!  Hilarious comedy breaks out!  It's a time of fun, music, and laughter.  A Taste of Autumn is held September 14, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. til 8:00 P.M. at the Gatlinburg Convention Center in the ballroom of Mills Conference Center.  Event cost is $30.00 with all proceeds going to the United Way.  For more information call 1-800-568-4748.  Tickets are limited for this event!
