WEARS VALLEY FALL FESTIVAL
Wears Valley Fall Festival is filled with food, music, local artisans, decorative arts and crafts, exciting activities! It's pure wholesome family entertainment from beginning to end! It's a one-of-a-kind celebration of everything representing "Fall" in the Great Smoky Mountains. Enjoy three full days of "down-home fun! Wears Valley Fall Fest has live demonstrations to interest every member of the family! You'll marvel at demonstrations that take you back to the "good old days!" There are also those that encourage "no littering" so that we may keep Sevier County beautiful. The "THINK" photo above is compiled of actual trash that was picked up in Sevier County. This message clearly encourages one to think before littering! Wears Valley Fall Festival - It's one of the grandest fall festivals of the year! Wear's Valley is a small community in the Great Smoky Mountains near Pigeon Forge,Tn. The Wears Valley Fall Festival presented by Keep Sevier Beautiful, brings the mountains to life with music, crafts, food and more! Entertaining children is one thing this celebration knows best! There's a huge tent set up specifically for children with all kinds of cool stuff! These interactive activities are sure to bring lots of fun, and loads of smiles to the face of every child. Kids will also enjoy hours of fun jumping, and climbing on inflatables set up especially for the event. The sounds of country, bluegrass, and southern gospel music echo through these mountains as folks sing, clap, and move to beat of some of the area's most popular songs and hymns. Local entertainers showcase their talent with twangy music they've written themselves, and familiar tunes you can sing along with. Whether your seated in the audience, or walking around, those beautiful mountain melodies follow you everywhere you go inside the fall festival! The festival's main attractions are the antique cars and tractors. You'll truly be amazed by this impressive collection. It's always exciting to see the beauty and restoration of those old cars. Folks around here just seem to have a knack for bringing out the best in an antique car. I suppose that's why we have so many antique car shows here in the Smokies! The tractors are a real sight to see as well! Some of them go back a lot of years, while others on display are used on our farms today! Wears Valley Fall Fest happens around the second weekend in October. MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR OCTOBER 18 - 20, 2019! The hours are 10:00 A.M until 6:00 P.M. on Friday, and Saturday, and 10:00 A.M until 4:00 P.M on Sunday. Vendors are welcome! There is a $5.00 charge for event parking.
