HOLLYWOOD STAR CARS

One of Gatlinburg's most exciting museums is Hollywood Star Cars!Hollywood Star Cars

Hollywood Star Cars is a fabulous Gatlinburg attraction for every member of the family!  This one-of-a-kind museum is filled with exhibits of some of the most famous vehicles in the world!  Over 40 of the most popular cars from movies and TV are displayed in re-created settings complete with sound, lights, and action.  This self-guided tour takes you through an exciting walk down memory lane that goes back fifty years!  New cars are added annually to keep up with the latest Hollywood "superstar" cars.  The latest exhibits come from such movies as "Gone in 60 Seconds," "Charlie's Angels, and "The Fast and Furious."

hollywood star cars - home to the most famous tv and movie vehicles!

Creator George Barris, who has created more Hollywood and TV cars than anyone in the business are on display here.  There's a short, but interesting video inside the museum that tells the story about his career and accomplishments.  He appears here pretty regularly, so if you're lucky, you might get to meet him in person!  You will definitely need your camera for "hot" shots of famous cars like The Ghostbusters' Ecto-1, The Munsters' Drag-u-la, General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard, the Beverly Hillbillies' Jalopy, and two Batmobiles - from Batman TV Show and Batman Returns.   If you're shopping for a great souvenir, have your photo taken INSIDE most of the cars for only $8.95!

Some of the more iinteresting exhibits at the Hollywood Star Cars Museum go back to the "good old days!"   Remember the Beach Boys'1955 Thunderbird?  What about Sir Paul McCartney's Cadillac,  Dolly Parton's 1997 Cadillac D'Elegance, or the Mellow Yellow race car?  Do you remember the Chevrolet Camaro known as "Bumblebee" featured during the 2007 Transformers?  It's on display here, along with "Herbie The Love Bug" movie's 1967 Volkswagon Beetle!   One of the best exhibits is the Delorean Time Machine from the hit movie, "Back To The Future."  The list goes on and on!  I've mentioned only a few here!  You must visit the Hollywood Star Cars Museum for yourself to experience the full adventure!

Hollywood Star Cars is located at 914 Parkway in the heart of Gatlinburg near traffic light #8 and the Gatlinburg Convention Center. The museum is surrounded by other attractions, restaurants, and hotels. No parking is available at the museum, however, there are pay parking lots within walking distance.  Hours of operation is Sunday through Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 P.M.  For more information, or DISCOUNT TICKETS CLICK HERE!
